BLACKFALDS, AB (January 15, 2015) – Accede Energy Services Ltd. is pleased to announce the acquisition of Curtis G Welding and Incline Rentals, both based out of Brooks, Alberta.

Curtis G Welding is a manufacturing and fabrication facility complete with engineering. CGW is able to manufacture multiple types of equipment for a variety industries ranging from oil and gas to agriculture. Incline Rentals adds pipe handling, pipe racks, generators, light towers, matting and fuel containment to Accede’s rental fleet.

Accede believes that synergies between Incline Rentals and Accede’s existing rental divisions will allow for both a rapid integration of this new business and the creation of significant operating efficiencies.

“We are very pleased to finalize the acquisition of both Curtis G Welding and Incline Rentals. This establishes Accede’s ability to be a premier equipment fabricator and the acquisition of Incline enhances our rental offerings within Western Canada’s oilfield industry,” said Gord Fritz, Accede’s President.

By combining Accede’s existing divisions with Curtis G Welding, through in-house manufacturing, this will contribute to significant growth opportunities. “Curtis G Welding and Incline Rentals also provides Accede with a strong foothold in the Brooks region,” concluded Mr. Fritz.

Accede Energy Services Ltd. was formed by a group of investors in December 2010. Accede is an employee owned and operated organization that acquires companies offering synergistic capabilities to one another.

Accede supports the Blackfalds Bulldogs Atom 1 & 2 teams.

Accede Energy Services Ltd. recently held its Christmas party. This year, employees suggested that instead of an open bar Accede should consider a cash bar with the proceeds going to a non-profit organization. Management at Accede agreed wholeheartedly and decided that whatever was raised from the cash bar, Accede would match with proceeds going to the Red Deer Youth and Volunteer Centre (YVC). YVC operates a youth shelter, the Boys and Girls Clubs, and Big Brothers Big Sisters programs.

In addition to the funds raised from drink tickets, Gord Fritz, CEO of Accede, made the comment if enough money was raised, he would ride a mechanical shark (like a bull, but with teeth). The Accede group rose to the occasion and was able to raise another $1,150 – forcing Mr. Fritz, suit and all, to ride the shark. Although his shark riding was much to be desired, Gord was thrilled with the amount of money raised for the YVC, stating, “Accede truly believes that the Youth are our future and by investing in youth today, we help to brighten the future.”

Altogether, Accede employees raised $5,180 in the evening to be presented to the Youth and Volunteer Centre.

As of December 1st, 2014, Back Country Communications Ltd. has become a division of Accede Energy Services Ltd. Based out of Blackfalds Alberta, Back Country provides communication systems equipment to the oil and gas sector. The purchase of Back Country further helps to promote Accedes’ growth in Jet Rentals communication division.
